SAFE ENVIRONMENT
“Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, ‘Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’ " - Luke 18:16
Corpus Christi Catholic Community and the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter are committed to providing a safe environment for all our parishioners - from the youngest to the oldest.
As a part of that effort, the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter has instituted a robust Safe Environment program. Corpus Christi participates fully in that program. We provide mandatory training (including detailed background checks) for all volunteers who work with children. We also provide parents with materials to use in discussing safe environment issues with their own children.

If you have any questions about the safe environment program and its implementation at Corpus Christi, or if you would like to begin the safe environment process certification process, please contact Fr Allen by email or at the the Parish Office (843.722.7696) or Lynn Schmidt, Safe Environment Coordinator for the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter (907.317.6257; SafeEnvironment@ordinariate.net).
